Hyderabad: Thunderstorms with gusty winds are very likely to occur at isolated places in Komarambheem, Mancherial, Jayashankar-Bhupalpally, Peddapally, Karimnagar, Warangal, Jangaon, Nagarkurnool, Nalgonda, Mahbubabad, Bhadradri-Kothagudem, Yadadri – Bhongir, Khammam, Suryapet, Wanaparthy, Jogulamba-Gadwal and Mahbubnagar districts on Thursday, the Met department bulletin warned on Wednesday.

The forecast said light to moderate rain or thundershowers are very likely to occur at isolated places in Telangana from April 26 to 29. No large change from April 30 to May 2 is the weather outlook.

According to the bulletin, thunderstorms with gusty winds occurred at isolated places in the above named 17 districts on Wednesday, with Bayyaram in Khammam district recording 4 cm of rain. The chief amounts of rainfall (in cm) in the State was: Gudur 3, Bhadrachalam, Mahbubabad, Aswaraopet and Chennaraopet 2 cm each, Dornakal and Burgampahad 1 cm each.

The highest maximum temperature of 42 degrees Celsius was recorded in Adilabad, Nizamabad, Medak and Ramagundam. The other temperatures recorded in the State were: Hyderabad, Khammam and Mahbubnagar 41 each, Nalgonda, Hakimpet and Hanamkonda 40 each, Bhadrachalam 39.
