As a result of Annual Bilateral Agreement between India and Kingdom of Saudi Arabia India got 5,000 more seats for Haj 2018, informed Telangana State Haj Committee chairman Mohammed Masiullah Khan.

Hyderabad : As a result of Annual Bilateral Agreement between India and Kingdom of Saudi Arabia India got 5,000 more seats for Haj 2018, informed Telangana State Haj Committee chairman Mohammed Masiullah Khan.

The Ministry of Minority Affairs, Government of India had allotted 3677 seats of this special quota and remaing seats were earmarked for Private Tour Operators.

The Haj Committee of India in turn has allotted 150 seats to Telangana State. Pilgrims selected under this Special Quota would be accommodated in the tent located outside the traditional boundaries of Mina.

Meanwhile, Haj committee of India has clarified that Allotment Letter is not necessary for the Haj pilgrims selected for free accommodation in Hyderabad Rubath in Makkah, instead they would be issued stickers at the embarkation point.
