Hyderabad : In view of the damages caused by rains, gales and thunder storms and other natural calamities during the monsoon period May-September 2018, the Telangana Government has issued orders delegating powers to the officers of municipal department to take up emergency repair works to the roads, nalas, sewer lanes of the water board and other such works of immediate nature in public interest to restore normalcy.
According to the Government Orders issued by the Principal Secretary Municipal Administration Arvind Kumar, no administrative sanction shall be taken up after 30th September. The GO also stipulates that no works other than those of emergency nature necessitated due to damages caused by rains and other natural calamities during the monsoon period should be taken up.
