Hyderabad : TG Gurukul CET Convener Dr R.S. Praveen Kumar released the results of the TG Gurukul CET – 2018 today at TSWREIS headquarters.

A total of 1,16,785 candidates ( Boys – 61,580; Girls – 55,205) appeared for the exam. Of the total candidates appeared, SC candidates comprise 38,454, ST (24612), BC (59412) and OC (4104).

The candidates have been advised to visit the website tgcet.cgg.gov.in for the results and admission details.

M Sashank of Komarambheem District belonging to the OC community topped the entrance exam by securing 95 marks out of 100. U Hymavathi, of Wanaparthi District hailing from BC community scored 94, L.Vyshali of Warangal Rural District from SC community scored 92 marks and K Krishna Prasad Nalgonda District belonging to ST community secured 92 marks.

A total of 39,700 (i.e. Boys 17,200 & Girls 22,500) students will be admitted into 5th class for the academic 2018-19 in 497 welfare residential schools across Telangana. The candidates are selected based on the marks secured in the exam reservation pattern and preference given at the time of submitting the online application.

The selected candidates are being informed about the name of the institution to which he/she is allotted seat along with the details of the certificates which the student has to produce at the time of joining.

If the student is not selected then he/she will get the result as “Not Selected in the First List.”

A call letter will be sent to the selected students by the concerned Principal by 10.05.2018 and the selected students should join in the allotted institution from 11.05.2018 onwards and the last date is 20.05.2018.

The Second selection list will be generated against the overall available vacancies and the list will be declared by May 30.

Dr RS Praveen Kumar congratulated the officers and staff for successfully conducting the exam and declaring the results in time.
