Laxma Reddy to flag off new 108 ambulances

Health Minister C Laxma Reddy will flag off new 108 Ambulances at Nizam College grounds on Tuesday morning. Of the existing fleet of 316 ambulances, 145 old ones are being replaced with new vehicles. This emergency ambulance service was being run under PPP mode from 2008 onwards. Government bears the operating cost of each 108 vehicle which comes to nearly Rs 1.4 lakh per month.
