Hyderabad : Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao disclosed that a final decision on the issues pertaining to state government employees, teachers and TSRTC employees will be taken on 16th May after discussions with employees’ associations.

The Chief Minister also said that the Pay Revision Commission to be appointed for this purpose should be revolutionised and should not be in a routine manner and towards this for taking an early decision the CM has asked officials of Finance department to make recommendations after making a study.

The Cabinet Sub-Committee which held discussions with employees’ associations and teachers’ associations submitted its report to Chief Minister this evening at Pragathi Bhavan. Finance Minister Etela Rajender, Energy Minister Jagdish Reddy submitted the report. Chief Minister had a detailed discussion on the report with Chief Secretary SK Joshi, Finance Principal Secretary Ramakrishna Rao, Secretary Shivshankar, CMO Principal Secretary S Narsing Rao, Special Secretary Bhoopal Reddy and others. CM later instructed that the cabinet sub-committee members and officials should meet again and to have a discussion and study the issues more deeply.

The Chief Minister also asked Finance Minister Etela Rajender that the cabinet sub-committee under his chairmanship along with Transport Minister Mahender Reddy should also hold discussions with TSRTC employees’ associations. CM said that he along with cabinet sub-committee members and officers will meet leaders of Employees, Teachers and TSRTC employees’ leaders on 16th May afternoon from 3PM to 4PM and will announce the decisions at 4PM same day.
