SpiceJet on Wednesday announced the launch of additional new flights on Hyderabad- Rajamundry and Hyderabad-Chennai routes from May 25. 

Hyderabad: SpiceJet on Wednesday announced the launch of additional new flights on Hyderabad- Rajamundry and Hyderabad-Chennai routes from May 25.

The Hyderabad- Rajamundry flight, the second direct flight between the two cities from the airline, will be operational on all days except Saturdays. The flight departs Hyderabad at 6.55 pm and arrives in Rajamundry at 20.05 pm. In return direction, it takes off in Rajamundry at 8.25 pm and lands in Hyderabad at 9.25 pm.

Meanwhile, the new Hyderabad-Chennai daily flight departs Chennai Airport at 11.55 am and arrives in Hyderabad at 1.25 pm. The return flight takes off at 1.45 pm and lands in Chennai 3.10 pm.

These two flights are among the 10 new flights that Spicejet will launch on domestic routes to strengthen its network in the southern region. The airline is deploying Bombardier Q-400 aircraft on all these routes.

Shilpa Bhatia, Chief Sales & Revenue Officer, SpiceJet, said: “We are on the path of a major fleet expansion which means new routes and destinations for our customers. We have introduced evening flights on key sectors which will operate in addition to the existing morning flights and help business travelers to plan same day trips.”
