TSTDC adds two new AC Volvo buses to its fleet
The Telangana State Tourism Development Corporation (TSTDC) procured two new A/C multi-axle Volvo buses for the special package tours between Hyderabad-Shirdi and Hyderabad-Tirupati.
​Hyderabad: The Telangana State Tourism Development Corporation (TSTDC) procured two new A/C multi-axle Volvo buses for the special package tours between Hyderabad-Shirdi and Hyderabad-Tirupati.
According to TSTDC MD B Manohar, with a view to modernise the fleet of the Corporation and to provide comfortable travel to tourists, two new AC Multi-Axle Volvo buses were purchased. The buses were delivered on May 29 to the Corporation.
He said that the Corporation owns the largest fleet compared to any other Tourism Corporations in India and is pioneer in introducing new class of coaches like Volvo buses, Mercedes Benz Coaches, AC Sleeper Coaches, Caravan Vehicle etc.
Manohar further said that the corporation would purchase two more AC Multi-Axle Ultra Modern Volvo buses and four A/C mini luxury buses for operating package tours to important tourist destinations in the State.
The MD said that the Corporation had recently introduced the “Telangana Temples Tour” and it also proposed to introduce the “Hyderabad-Kaleshwaram Projects” special package tour covering Ranganayakula Sagar Project (near Siddipet), Sundilla barrage (near Manthani), Annaram pump house etc. The Corporation also opened new information and reservation counters at corporate office, Himayat Nagar and also at Salarjung Museum for the convenience of tourists.
