Swachhta Pakhwada 2018 concludes
On the directives of Ministry of Power, “Swachhta Pakhwada-2018” was celebrated at Power Grid Corporation of India Limited’s regional office here and at its substations and construction offices from May 16 to 31. Valedictory of the Swachhta Pakhwada was held here on Friday.
Hyderabad: On the directives of Ministry of Power, “Swachhta Pakhwada-2018” was celebrated at Power Grid Corporation of India Limited’s regional office here and at its substations and construction offices from May 16 to 31. Valedictory of the Swachhta Pakhwada was held here on Friday.
During the fortnight, administering Swachhta pledge to employees, upkeep of workplace, cleaning of office as well as substation premises, disposal of office waste, scrap and digitisation of records, competitions for children and family members of the employees on Swachh Bharat Abhiyan were conducted.
A talk on cleanliness of surroundings and waste management by GHMC official was held and Swachhta workshops were organised.
Dustbins were distributed to small-time eateries in and around Kavadiguda for free of cost. V Sekhar, ED (SRTS-I), POWERGRID addressed the participants and distributed prizes to winners of competitions held during the fortnight.
