​Hyderabad: Rain occurred on Tuesday at isolated places in Telangana, with Nagarkurnool receiving 5 cm of rain. The Met department bulletin said there was rain of 3 cm each in Devarakonda (Nalgonda district), Thimmajipet (Nagarkurnool), Wanaparthy and 2 cm each in Yacharam (Ranga Reddy), Achampet, Vangoor (Nagarkurnool). One cm each was recorded in Mahbubnagar, Hayathnagar, Kodangal, Maheswaram, Manthani, Jadcherla, Kotagiri and Asifabad.

The highest day temperature of 41 degrees Celsius was recorded in Adilabad and Nalgonda. The other temperatures registered in the State were: Bhadrachalam, Medak & Ramagundam 40 each, Khammam, Mahbubnagar & Nizamabad 39 each, Hyderabad 38, Hakimpet & Hanamkonda 37 each.

According to the forecast, thunderstorms with gusty winds are very likely to occur at isolated places in all Telangana districts on June 6. Heavy to very heavy rain is likely in all districts on June 7. Light to moderate rain or thundershowers are forecast at many places in the State from June 6 to 9. No large change during June 10-12 is the weather outlook.
