The High Court at Hyderabad has questioned the Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) as to how it was going to continue the recruitment process for 304 posts of Principals in Gurukul educational institutions after removing 67 questions from the exam paper.

The Division Bench comprising of Acting Chief Justice Ramesh Ranganathan and Justice J Uma Devi gave this direction on Tuesday while hearing a PIL petition filed by K Balakrishna Mudiraj and another belonging to Gudur village of Kandukur mandal in Ranga Reddy district, challenging the notification issued for recruitment to Principal posts in Gurukul institutions.

Senior counsel S Satyam Reddy, appearing on behalf of the petitioners, submitted to the Bench that out of the total 300 questions in the examination paper, 67 were lifted directly from the question papers framed by private coaching centres.

After conducting an inquiry, the TSPSC announced removal of these 67 questions from the exam paper. The Bench questioned the counsel for TSPSC as to how it would proceed further after removing these questions. It sought details and adjourned the case by a week.
