Make all arrangements for Panchayat polls: Election Commissioner to officials

Khammam: State Election Commissioner Nagi Reddy on Friday direct the officials to make all the necessary arrangements for the Panchayat elections. The Commissioner was discussing the arrangements being made for the elections with Khammam District Collector D S Lokesh Kumar and the officials through video conference.

Nagi Reddy directed the officials to make necessary arrangements for conducting the Panchayat elections as the term of village panchayats was coming to end by July. He asked the Collector to ensure that officials are trained for conducting the polling without any hitch. He also wanted the official provide a list of polling stations.

The District Collector told the Commissioner that all the necessary arrangements were made for conducting the Panchayat elections without any hitch. District Panchayat Officer Srinivas Reddy, Revenue Divisional Officer Purnachandram, Kallur Revenue Divisional Officer Naga Lakshmi, Project Director District Rural Development Agency Indumathi, District Minority Welfare Officer Ramesh and others were present.
