Animigri Rufus, a Dalit from Jagboinpally village under Midjil madal in Mahbubnagar district, has secured Doctorate (PhD) degree in Economics from Osmania University on Friday.
Mahbubnagar: Animigri Rufus, a Dalit from Jagboinpally village under Midjil madal in Mahbubnagar district, has secured Doctorate (PhD) degree in Economics from Osmania University on Friday.
Rufus, who came from a poor economic background, faced hardships. Overcoming all odds, hegot admission in PHD economics and conducted research in micro economics. His topic of research was “Micro Finance and Rural Economy,” a case study of Mahbubnagar district. Rufus was guided by prof Sidda Goud and he successfully submitted his thesis and was awarded PhD for his research study.
