A team of Singareni Colleries Company Limited, led by Chairmen and Managing Director N.Sridhar, attended  the 25th World Mining Congress in Kazakhstan on Tuesday.

Kothagudem: A team of Singareni Colleries Company Limited, led by Chairmen and Managing Director N.Sridhar, attended the 25th World Mining Congress in Kazakhstan on Tuesday.

The team, that also comprises Director (Operations) S.Chandra Sekhar, Kothagudem area General Manager K.B.Ramana Murthy, discussed the issues related to the use of new technology being used in the coal production and power generations. The conference was inaugurated by the Deputy Prime minister of the host country.

The Mining Congress has been conducting since 1958 in all countries. India had conducted this conference in 1984. Every three years, the conference is being conducted all over the country. The next conference will conduct in Australia in 2021.

SCCL review meeting conducted A review meeting of SCCL officials was conducted by the Kothagudem area General Manager (in-charge) Ch. Nirikshana Raju here in his office on Tuesday. During the meeting, the GM reviewed the production of coal, transportation and achievement of the goal in the month. He also discussed the conduct of Swachh Pakhwada, Haritha Haram and Yoga Day celebration programmes in the area.

He tried to acertain the progress towards achievement of coal production and transportation targets. SO GM Narayana, D.Damodhar, P.O Salem Raju, G.P Rao and Saleem others attended the meeting.
