2 killed, 5 injured in separate road accidents
Two persons were killed and 5 others were injured in two different road accidents in Kottur mandal under Shadngar constituency and Gattu mandals in Gadwal district on Thursday.
Mahbubnagar: Two persons were killed and 5 others were injured in two different road accidents in Kottur mandal under Shadngar constituency and Gattu mandals in Gadwal district on Thursday.
In the first accident, two persons who were riding a bike accidentally fell in a nearby drainage opposite to Indian Oil Corporation petrol pump in Timmapur village of Kottur mandal on National Highway 44. Both the persons Sajid and Mahaboob of Inmul Narva village were died on the spot as they suffered severe head injuries. The police shifted their bodies to Shandnagar government hospital for post mortem.
In another case, a family of 10 persons who were returning from Mantralaym in a Toophan vehicle suddenly met with an accident when the vehicle in which they were travelling in suddenly fell into a road side ditch upside down. Five among the 10 persons were severely injured while others were out of danger with minor injuries. The injured persons were shifted to Kurnool hospital for treatment.
