Mahbubnagar: Health Minister Dr. C. This high way will help the people of the district to have easy interstate transportation and also build business network between Karnataka, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh,” said the Minister.

Between Mahabubnagar district headquarters to Marikal over a stretch of 55 kms the works are already completed and on the rest of the stretch land acquisition and construction of culverts and bridges are in the last stages. The minister expected that the entire stretch of National Highway 167 between Raichur in Karnataka to Jadcherla in Mahabubnagar will complete soon.

However, the works between Jadcherla and Kodada have been taken up recently. The Minister directed the concern officials to expedite construction works and ensure they are competed at the earliest. The minister observed that if this stretch is competed the transportation will be improved and it will reduce the growing number of accidents.
