Nakrekal: In a bizarre incident, a man filed a complaint on Monday Nakrekal court seeking justice and protection from domestic violence by his wife and her kin.

According to reports, Ravula Bhaskar of Utkur village of Shaligowraram mandal in Nalgonda district was married to Renuka of Velugupally of Tungaturthi mandal in Suryapet district. The couple has been quarrelling with each other ever since their marriage. In this connection, Renuka, along with his family members, allegedly manhandled her husband Bhaskar several times.

Further, Renuka’s maternal uncle Veera Prasad, who is working as a constable in Suryapet, also allegedly manhandled Bhaskar and also harassed his family members by filing false cases at the police station. Bhaskar’s father died three months ago due to unbearable torture by daughter-in- law Renuka, Bhaskar alleged in his complaint.

Vexed with wife Renuka and his family members’ violent attitude, Bhaskar, seeking protection to himself and his family members from wife’s family, filed domestic violence case against Renuka, her parents, brothers and maternal uncle Veera Prasad on Monday at the Nakerkal court. Meanwhile, Bhaskar alleged that Renuka and Veera Prasad had an illicit relationship.
