Bahujan Left Front organises protest rally, dharna
Demanding government to solve people’s problems, the Bahujan Left Front(BLF) on Wednesday took out a rally in the temple town that culminated at the Collectorate with four-hour dharna.
Kothagudem: Demanding government to solve people’s problems, the Bahujan Left Front(BLF) on Wednesday took out a rally in the temple town that culminated at the Collectorate with four-hour dharna.
All leaders and workers and activists of the party participated in the rally. The entire coal town was filled the BLF leaders and workers who had come from different parts of the district. The party leaders and workers raised anti-government slogans.
All roads in the coal town were filled with BLF workers and leaders. Bhadrachalam MLA Sunnam Rajaiah, BLF leaders P.Somaiah, M.Venkateswarlu, A.Kanakaiah, and AJ Rames addressed the rally.
They demanded the government to solve all problems of the people immediately. They alleged that while people have been suffering, only Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s family members benefitted during the four-year rule of the TRS government in the State.
The BLF leaders said that they conducted surveys in the state and received petitions from the people. They said the people are not happy with the performance of the TRS. They also criticised the TRS government and alleged that officials only selected the TRS party workers for welfare schemes in the district.
They demanded the government ot give priority to all people who are eligible to avail benefits of the government schemes.The BLF leaders demanded the government to give double bedroom houses to the poor and provide Rythu Bandhu scheme benefits to all Podu lands farmers in the district. The leaders said that they would fight for the solution of tenant farmers’ problems in the State.
After the rally the BLF leaders staged a dharna at the Collectorate for four hours. Tension was prevailed for a while when the BLF leaders and police officials had hot talk.
Later, the District Collecter met the protesters who submitted the applications which they had received recently during the survey conducted by the party in the district. The Collector promised the leaders to solve the problems. After the meeting with the Collector, the BLF leaders ended the dharna.
Earlier the coal town filled with party leaders of the BLF. The leaders who came from the various places from the district for participated with enthusiasm the program of stage protect dharna and rally program.
