KCR okays UAE consulate in Hyderabad
Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao on Thursday agreed to the UAE’s proposal for establishing its consulate in Hyderabad. The Chief Minister instructed Chief Secretary S K Joshi to allocate required land and provide infrastructure for opening the consulate.

Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of United Arab Emirates Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan called on KCR at the latter’s camp office Pragati Bhavan in the city. The CM felt happy for the proposal of the Sheikh Abdullah for establishing UAE consulate office in the city.
Chief Minister briefed the initiatives taken by his government which includes industrial policy, development on social aspects, education, medicine and establishing of infrastructure and how the state is encountering the impediments in emerging towards a Bangaru Telangana. The Chief Minister also extended invitation to Sheikh to visit ongoing construction of Kaleshwaram project to have a first-hand experience and the latter reciprocated to visit Hyderabad again and pay a visit to the project.
Sheikh congratulated KCR for the welfare programmes taken up for the development of Minorities in the state, for establishing residential schools for minorities and Irrigation projects. The Chief Minister also said Telangana state is blooming in the field of medical tourism and told him how many foreigners have been availing medical facilities available in the state.
