Telangana remembers PV on his birth anniversary
Government of Telangana on Thursday celebrated former PV Narasimha Rao’s 97th birth anniversary on a grand scale. Home Minister N Narasimha Reddy paid floral tributes at PV Gyan Bhumi in the city.
Hyderabad: Government of Telangana on Thursday celebrated former PV Narasimha Rao’s 97th birth anniversary on a grand scale. Home Minister N Narasimha Reddy paid floral tributes at PV Gyan Bhumi in the city.
He said that PV has steered the country to new heights and brought in economic reforms for economic growth of India. His reforms were praised by several other nations as India witnessed a robust growth. PV was a multi linguist and rose to become PM from MLA from Telangana.
PV’s name will be in the history for his services for the country and he was the son of Telangana, shown a progressive direction to the country and put on right track the financial crisis, said Animal Husbandry Minister T Srinivas Yadav.
TPCC president N Uttam Kumar Reddy said he will write a letter to the State government requesting to name a district after former Prime Minister P V Narasimha Rao. Former Union Minister and BJP MP Bandaru Dattatreya and government Advisor KV Ramana chary and family members of PV were also present.
