SCR GM undertakes window trailing safety inspection

South Central Railway (SCR) General Manager Vinod Kumar Yadav undertook window trailing safety inspection of Secunderabad - Khammam section of Secunderabad Division on Monday.

He was accompanied by Amit Varadan, Divisional Railway Manager, Secunderabad Division and other officers.

The General Manager reviewed details with regard to the section plan and monitored track safety conditions of the entire route between Secunderabad-Khammam. During the course of his inspection, which was on-board the Hyderabad – Howrah East Coast Express, Vinod Kumar Yadav also interacted with passengers of the train at Jangaon and elicited their feedback with regard to the amenities on train. He also checked the facilities and amenities available at the station. At Kazipet, the General Manager inspected the foot over bridge, escalators and other facilities available. He advised the Division officials to continue maintaining the track and station infrastructure to the top most standards, so as to ensure safety and comfort of rail users.

Later, upon reaching Vijayawada, the General Manager along with R. Dhananjayulu, Divisional Railway Manager, Vijayawada Division visited the Engineering Permanent Way Depot at Tadepalli and scrutinized the Depot Management system in place.
