Hyderabad: The historical shrine in Secunderabad, the Ujjaini Mahankali Temple, is being bedecked and arrangements have been made ahead of the State festival Bonalu to be celebrated on July 29.

The host of dignitaries who will visit the temple on the auspicious day includes Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, according to Animal Husbandry Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav.

The Minister visited the temple on Tuesday and held a review meeting with the officials. Speaking on the occasion, Srinivas Yadav said Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao would be attending the ritual at the temple at 11.30 am. Some 2,000 women would come in a procession carrying traditional Bonalu and present them to the presiding deity.
