GHMC chief asks officials to complete road works by September 10
Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation GHMC Commissioner Dana Kishore directed the engineering officials to complete the repair works for roads up to 87 km by September 10 at a meeting held at GHMC head office on Thursday
Hyderabad: Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) Commissioner Dana Kishore directed the engineering officials to complete the repair works for roads up to 87 km by September 10 at a meeting held at GHMC head office on Thursday.
Dana advised the engineering wing officials to fill uneven roads and potholes before the commencement of festivals Ganesh Chaturthi, Moharrum and Dussera. Dana said, “This was the part of 800 lane km of roads laying and repairing project worth Rs 721 crore. GHMC claims that 200 lane km of road repairing works have been completed.” He also insisted on utilising instant repair vehicles which were to be allotted in every ward. Zonal commissioners and engineering wing officials were present during the meeting.
