Hyderabad: Mohammad Ismail of Nalgonda has been unanimously re-elected as president of the Telangana Government Junior Lecturers’ Association (TGJLA) along with the state executive committee. Election was held on August 30 in the association office at Saroornagar.
The office-bearers are: Venkateshwarlu of Hayatnagar (associate president); Chintram Yadagiri of Haliya (general secretary), Sabera Khatoon of Kandukoor ( joint secretay), R Ravinder of Nakrekal (finance secretary), L Swamy of BHEL and Vasantha of Raidurgam (executivee members), according to a statement issued by Ismail here on Friday.
Later, the new office-bearers demanded swift action by the Commissioner of Intermediate Education against those principals who allegedly violated GO (no 116) on general transfers 2018. The statement accused the principal of Government Junior College for Girls, Nalgonda, of violating the GO by not relieving a junior lecturer who has been transferred to Sangareddy.
