LB Nagar: President of National Backward Classes Welfare Association R Krishnaiah on Monday demanded the state government to restore the 26 BC castes which were deleted unconstitutionally and illegally from the list. He was addressing a meeting held at BC Bhavan.
He lamented that the people barred from BC list lost all facilities including reservations, scholarships, seats in hostels and government jobs. He claimed that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao was not authorised to delete the castes. Krishnaiah warned to intensify the agitation if the castes were not restored in the list. Association national vice-president Gujja Krishna, state president Erra Satyanarayana, Kola Janardhan, Neela Rajendar, Burra Sadanandam were present.
