Students, residents clean up Godavari river bank
Citizens Forum and Kranthi Public School students took out a rally against use of plastic in the temple town on Wednesday Flagging off the rally, SubJail Superintendent K Anand said, everyone should play his role for protection of the environment He asked people to avoid the plastic bags and others polluting items in the temple town
Bhadrachalam: Citizens’ Forum and Kranthi Public School students took out a rally against use of plastic in the temple town on Wednesday. Flagging off the rally, Sub-Jail Superintendent K. Anand said, ”everyone should play his role for protection of the environment.” He asked people to avoid the plastic bags and others polluting items in the temple town.
After the programme, the students and Citizen Forum representatives get down to clean Godavari River bank of plastics. Citizen Forum convener Soma Shekar informed that in the coming days his organization will conduct many programmes in Bhadadrachalm.
Forum representatives S Srinivas Rao, Thirumal Rao, Zidha, Spice Reddy, Sambi Reddy, Srinivas Reddy, SK Saleem, Koppula Murali, Nagaraju and others participated in the programme.
