As speculated, the TRS partys decision to dissolve Assembly all of a sudden and at the same time releasing the list of contestants for all the 14 Assembly constituencies in erstwhile Mahabubnagar has put the opposition particularly the Congress, BJP and TDP parties in a tight position as they are struggling to come out of the sudden decision of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao
Mahbubnagar: As speculated, the TRS party’s decision to dissolve Assembly all of a sudden and at the same time releasing the list of contestants for all the 14 Assembly constituencies in erstwhile Mahabubnagar has put the opposition particularly the Congress, BJP and TDP parties in a tight position as they are struggling to come out of the sudden decision of Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao.
“Though the speculations were rife and many were expecting the TRS chief to announce the dissolution of assembly during Pragathi Nivedhana sabha, but as there was no clear cut decision announced by KCR, the congress, TDP and BJP parties were still left in confusion and suspense mode until today,” observed Narendra Chary, a political analysts from Mahabubnagar.
“However, with KCR announced the dissolution of Assembly on Thursday and more significantly releasing the list of TRS party contestants by retaining almost all the earlier candidates has put the opposing parties in fix as they are left confused and unprepared with the sudden decision,” he added.
The TRS party has announced VM. Abraham from Alampur, Bandla Krishna Mohan from Gadwal, Srinivas Goud from Mahabubnagar, Dr. C. Laxma Reddy from Jadcherla, Ale Venkateshwar reddy from Devarkadra, Guvvala balaraj from Achampet, Jaipal Yadav from Kalwakurthy, Singi Reddy Niranjan Reddy from Wanaparthy, Marri Janardhan Reddy from Nagarkurnool, S. Rajender Reddy from Patnam Narender Reddy from Kodangal, Jupally Krishna Rao from Kollapur, Chittem Ram mohan Reddy from Makthal and Y. Anjaiah Yadav from Shandnagar, which were all the 14 constituencies of erstwhile Mahbubnagar district.
On the other hand, the Congress party has not yet released its list of candidates but speculations are rife that it may name Nagam Janardhan Reddy from Nagarkurnool, Mallu Ravi from Jadcherla, and Revanth Reddy from Kodangal constituencies. However, with two groups of D.K. Aruna and JaiPal Reddy from within congress are fighting to place their own candidates in Narayanpet, the congress party is seems to be still not yet decided on the issue, as per the internal party sources in Mahabubnagar.
Similarly the contestants from constituency of Mahabubnagar, Kollapur and Shadnagar are also yet to be confirmed by the party high command as there is a huge competition among the congress leaders to contest these constituencies from within the party.
“The TRS party wants to hit the opposition by not letting it get prepared to the early polls, however, we as CPI party want the TRS government to explain why it is going for early elections where is still 8-9 months to complete the tenure of 5 year term,” alleged Paramesh Goud, CPI district secretary, Mahabubnagar.
“It is nothing but the TRS party wants to make all the other opposition parties to get busy in their internal matters and not letting them a chance to raise people’s problems. The TRS party has miserably failed in not even fulfilling any one of its earlier poll promises to the people and now again forcing the public to go for elections which is nothing but waste of public money,” he added.
