Expedite voter enrolment process: Kothagudem Collector
Every Booth Level Officer BOL should do the voters enrollment works in all villages with enthusiasm, said District Collector Rajat Kumar Saini On Friday, he visited the Sarvaram village polling centre and observed the enrollment programme there He asked officials to take the support of the political leaders to speed up the enrolment process
Kothagudem: Every Booth Level Officer ( BOL) should do the voters enrollment works in all villages with enthusiasm, said District Collector Rajat Kumar Saini. On Friday, he visited the Sarvaram village polling centre and observed the enrollment programme there. He asked officials to take the support of the political leaders to speed up the enrolment process.
He ordered officers to submit the voter lists on 15th of this month. He asked them to identify the fake voters and struck of the names from the voter lists. He told the officers to conduct village-level meetings and identify the voters who have died and removed their name from the list.
The programme of enrollment of new voters will continue till 25th of this month, he added. He requested the people who are eligible to enroll immediately. The officers created awareness among the people about the right of vote, said the District Collector. Tahsildhars Prasad and others attended the programme.
