Alleging that Revanth Reddys entry into Congress party is nothing but a big drama enacted by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, so as to shield both Naidu and Revanth from the TRS governments wrath of vote for note case, said Tammili Balaraj, YSRCP incharge of Kodangal mandal on Sunday

Mahbubnagar: Alleging that Revanth Reddy’s entry into Congress party is nothing but a big drama enacted by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, so as to shield both Naidu and Revanth from the TRS government’s wrath of vote for note case, said Tammili Balaraj, YSRCP in-charge of Kodangal mandal on Sunday.

As it can be recalled that two years back Revanth Reddy was caught red-handed while trying to convince a nominated Anglo-Indian MLA of TRS party to vote in favour of TDP candidate and vote against the TRS party candidate during the MLC elections.

Over this, the police had also booked cases and sent Revanth Reddy to Jail for some time. However, with changing times, Revanth Reddy who worked as fire-brand leader in TDP and even served the party as working president, could not stay put himself in TDP for more time and jumped to the Congress party for a stronger platform to fight the TRS.

While inaugurating the YSRCP party flag in Matur village of Kodangal mandal, Balaraj said that both the TRS and Congress parties are filled with majority leaders who have defected from the TDP party.

So the ideologies of both these parties are same. The TRS party during 2014 elections branded TDP and Congress as Andhra Parties and bagged votes by fooling the people.

But what happened after elections, the TRS party had taken a u turn and inducted in its cabinet the leaders who opposed Telangana bifurcation. “Both TDP and Congress are branches of the same tree, so people are not ready to believe them.

This time YSRCP will contest 40-50 seats in Telangana and give a tough fight. Revanth and Narender Reddy who are trying to contest from Kodangal are both outsiders and the people of Kodangal are not ready to accept them,” said Balaraj.

Kolla Yadaiah, Vikarabad district YSRCP president and others were also present on the occasion.
