Warangal: Police Commissioner V Ravinder has warned that criminal cases will be filed against those applicants who are appearing for the posts of Stipendiary Cadet Trainee (SCT) Police Constable (Civil) if they resort to unethical practices in the upcoming preliminary written test scheduled to be held here on September 30. He was speaking at an awareness programme organised in connection with the constable recruitment test here on Friday.

It may be noted here that Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board (TSLPRB) is conducting the preliminary written test under the aegis of JNTU-Hyderabad in 95 centres in the erstwhile Warangal district.

In all, 50,410 candidates are scheduled to take test. Of which, 30,090 applicants are to attend the test in 51 centres in the tri-cities of Warangal-Hanamkonda-Kazipet. There are 19 centres in Janagaon and 25 centres in Narsampet where 9,720 and 13,600 applicants are supposed to write exam respectively. The timing of the exam is 10 am to 1 pm.

DCP Ashok Kumar has been appointed as the nodal officer to ensure the smooth conduct of the exam, Commissioner of Police said. Advisory to the candidates: Candidates should not wear any jewellery, watch, mehndi/henna and carry electronic gadgets. Ensure that you reach the right test centre before two hours of the examination time. On the day of the test, candidates digital fingerprint scan will be captured.

JNTU Prof. Giridhar, Warangal Regional Coordinator Prof. T Srinivasulu (Kakatiya University Engineering department Dean) ACPs Rajendraprasad and Sunitha Mohan, SHE Team inspector Srinivasa Rao, Janagaon and Narsampet regional coordinators Vijay Bhaskar and Chandramouli were among others present.
