Hyderabad: A team of Youth Congress members led by State Youth Congress spokesperson SP Kranthi Kumar submitted memorandums to TPCC Manifesto Committee chairman & former deputy chief minister Damodar Rajanarsimha at Gandhi Bhavan on Thursday.

Speaking on this occasion, Kumar said that they had submitted memorandum for allocation of budget for development of Old City, particularly for improvement of primary school education system, starting of new junior, degree, PG & technical colleges for boys and girls separately in the much-neglected Old City. “If Congress comes to power we hope that development and better amenities, particularly schools and colleges come to the Old City,” he felt.

He also submitted few other memorandums for starting of Indira Canteens like in Karnataka state in necessary tourist places, municipalities & all districts where ever required. He reminded that in Congress rule meals at Rs 5 by GHMC was started as a pilot project in March 2014, which later on became a successful scheme. Along with Kumar, Youth Congress members P Rakesh, Govardhan Reddy, Sai Ram and others were present on this occasion.
