Khammam: The Joint Action Committee (JAC) of various student organisations on Monday strongly opposed the establishment of corporate educational institutions in Khammam district.
Stating the meeting JAC, district convenor Avula Ashok alleged that some of the Corporate educational institutions like Sri Chatanya, Narayana and Akash are trying to establish their branches in the Khammam district to rob the innocent parents by collecting lakhs of rupees in the name of fees from the students.
Quoting Einstein, he said, “The main purpose and aim of an educational institution must be all round development of students but should not manufacture such students by exerting pressure on them to get settled in any one sector they are not interested in.”
