5 persons receive electric shock

##BIG-IMAGE#Mahbubnagar: As many as five persons received burn injuries when they accidentally came into contact with a high-tension wire at a sub-station in Midjil mandal on Thursday.

According to sources, some five painters who were tasked with job of painting the Midjil sub-station building, were painting the upper part of the building walls, however, as soon as one of the painter who accidentally touched the high tension wire, received severe burns and fell down from the ladder, others who were also standing nearby him received severe burns.

However the condition of one person among the five is said to be very critical. “One person named Srinu Nayak, who received severe burns due to electric shock of the high tension wirer is very critical. He has been shifted to Mahbubnagar hospital for better treatment,” informed the Midjil police. The police have registered a case and investigating the matter.
