Kothagudem: District Collector Rajat Kumar Saini inaugurated the publicity vehicle for the awareness of the voting machines here on Thursday. Speaking on the occasion, he said every voter of the district must be aware of the use of the voting machines.
He said the mobile publicity vehicle will travel in all constituencies to make people aware of the use of the voting. He said, every voter must understand the functioning of the EVMs (Electronic Voting Machines) and VVPAT (Voter – Verified Paper Audit Trail). After the programme, the District Collector released the pamphlets of details of the use of EVM and VVPATs.
Joint Collector K Venkateswarlu, Assistant Collector Tripati, MPDO Manohar Reddy, DPRO S Srinivas Rao and other officers attended the programme.
