Hyderabad: Psychopath killer Venkat Yadav has been continuously changing his whereabouts to evade arrest by the city police. The city police are on a look out to arrest the criminal Venkat after the Telangana Hijra Intersex Transgender Samiti (THITS) recently submitted a representation to ACP K Srinivas and requested him to arrest Venkat Yadav in 24 hours as the criminal and his gang were giving threat calls to Chadramukhi, a transgender. over a phone.

Transgender community of Telangana alleged that they were facing the brunt of deep-rooted stigma, exclusion and violence. Structurally excluded and bereft of employment or even basic options of livelihood, transgenders are pushed to the fringes of society. “Many of us are constrained to be dependent on the traditional sources of livelihood like begging, seeking alms and sex work,” said Vijayanti. Adding “We are also going to conduct protest in Hyderabad if Venkat is not arrested.”
ACP K Srinivas speaking to The Hans India said, “We are actively searching for Venkat Yadav, he is continuously changing his location but will catch him soon.”

THITS president Chandramukhi said, “Venkat has deep-rooted contempt and hatred for transgenders. His criminal behavior falls under the category of hate seeking sadistic pleasure in brutalizing transgender bodies. In his group there are many students who are given easy money and alcohol for keeping an eye on us. We have also staged protests near Banjara Hills police station and on October 1, submitted a representation to Hyderabad police.”

“Most shocking part is that Venkat also forces us to accept his friend request on Facebook or else threatens to kill us,” said Rachanna and Vinnu, members of THITS. The cases booked were a few ones by the survivors of his brutalities, in reality there are many crimes that have been not registered, said members. Since 2012, throughout the city Commissionerate of Cyberabad, Hyderabad and Rachakonda, Venkat Yadav and his goons resorted to serial attacks, murders and sexual assaults on transgenders.
