3-km Green Ride held
The 24 finalists of Trends Miss Hyderabad 2018 in association with KIMS Hospitals participated in Green Ride, an initiative to create awareness on the importance of going green and reducing carbon footprint, at Kondapur on Sunday
Hyderabad: The 24 finalists of Trends Miss Hyderabad 2018 in association with KIMS Hospitals participated in ‘Green Ride,’ an initiative to create awareness on the importance of going green and reducing carbon footprint, at Kondapur on Sunday. Green Ride saw a participation of more than 200 people from all walks of life. The event was flagged of by Dr K Shilpi Reddy, Head of KIMS CUDDLES Mother and Child Care, and popular Tollywood actor Ashish Gandhi. A number of celebrities and guests participated in the 3-km ride
Ashish Gandhi said: “It was a delight to see so many people, mostly youngsters turn up for this ride to spread awareness on cycling to reduce pollution and save the limited natural resources . Cycling not only reduces pollution but also help us being fit, the young India is leading it the right way”
Dr K Shilpi Reddy said, “In today's lifestyle we are more buried in day-to-day activities with no track of fitness and diet.
The modern lifestyle has consumed us totally. Be it fossil fuel depletion or the health status of individuals the reason being is this lifestyle dependent on modernisation. It’s our go green initiative to spread this to the world with this Trends Miss Hyderabad platform To raise awareness and spread health with a purpose.”
