Kukatpally: Caretaker Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav on Monday hit out at Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu for joining hands with the Congress for the ensuing Assembly elections.

Speaking after inaugurating a bike rally in Allapur in support of local TRS candidate Madhavaram Krishna Rao, he cautioned voters against opting for the Grand Alliance as it “lacks principles”, while urging them to support Rao, who has developed the constituency spending crores.

Talasani expressed confidence of Rao securing a majority of one lakh votes after considering people’s response to his campaigning. ‘The development works and welfare schemes taken up by the TRS government would ensure the party’s victory’. He claimed that people were ready to send the grand alliance packing, while the TRS was sure to come back to power, as it supported people of every area and stood by them, referring to Andhra voters. Several activists of various parties joined TRS in the presence of Talasani. Among those who took part in the bike rally were TRS Corporator Sabiha Ghousuddin, senior party leaders and workers.
