Khairatabad: Jalamandali is considering various technologies to minimize unaccountable water percentage. As part of its efforts, Jalamandali reviewed a new leak detection technology by Sudo Technologies. The representative of the company gave a power point presentation before Jalamandali directors on Thursday.

Representatives of the company explained the new technology which is being successfully used in Vietnam. This technology is also offered to Bengaluru Jalamandali, they said. As part of the deal, 300 staff members were trained in the technology for three months. Water wastage can be minimized using this technology which identifies different types of leakages, the representatives said. There are two different types of equipments for transmission and distribution, they said.

Among those participated in the meeting were Jalamandali executive director M Sathyanarayana, secondary transmission director Dr PS Suryanarayana and revenue director B Vijay Kumar Reddy.
