Suryapet: Taking a dig at Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, former Union Minister and BJP MP Bandaru Dattatreya on Friday said that KCR had made 125 promises to the people during the 2014 elections but failed to fulfill any of them. He described TRS supremo KCR as a man of hollow promises.

KCR failed to provide assured irrigation facility to one crore acres land in the State. Even though as many as 2,48, 000 people submitted their application to the state government under Pradhan Mantri Avas Yojana but KCR-led State government could not send a single application to Delhi, he emphasised.

KCR betrayed tribals, minorities and BCs with his magical words and false promises, he added. He insulted women of the State by not inducting even a single woman in his Cabinet and by not establishing women commission in the State in his four years family rule.

The former Union Minister also targeted Minister Jagadish Reddy while addressing a press conference in Suryapet. He said being a SC Development Minister Jagadish Reddy did nothing for the welfare of SCs.

The BJP leader also criticized the Congress-led Mahakutami. He said, Congress divided the people of the country in the name of caste and religion for its political gains and described Mahakutami as Maya Kutami.

He condemned AICC chief Rahul Gandhi remarks on PM Modi with regard to developments in CBI and asserted Congress as Scamgress. He informed the party organize PM Modi’s public meeting in Suryapet very soon.

In this press meet, BJP MLA candidate from Suryapet constituency Sankineni Venkateshwar Rao and party’s district and local leaders were present.
