Hyderabad: Congress senior leader and Leader of Opposition in Council Mohammed Ali Shabbir said that caretaker Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao and his son and minister K. Tarakarama Rao were trying to lure the settlers in Telangana (Seemandhra people) by the same trick which they used to cheat people by making fake promises like double bed room houses.

Shabbir said that the ensuing visit of KCR to Delhi on the pretext of having an eye and dental check-up was just a bogey to secretly seal a deal with the BJP leadership of Amit Shah and Modi. "Where is the need for KCR to go to Delhi for eye-check up as national and international leaders are coming to super specialty eye hospitals in Hyderabad for treatment?" he asked and asked him why he did not done his check-up in government programme of 'Kanti Velugu'.

He KTR's comment that TRS Govt had held back a proposal to contribute Rs.100 crore for developing Amaravati, after a cue from PM Modi not to fund the AP capital project, exposed the long-standing nexus between both TRS and the BJP. He said that the KTR campaign of Mana Hyderabad - Mana Andari Hyderabad’ (Hamara Hyderabad) in which he appealed for support to Seemandhra people smacked of political opportunism and deception once again. "Now that the TRS and KCR family has lost the confidence of the people of Telangana, they are trying to lure the Seemandhra people in Telangana, particularly in Hyderabad," he said.

Commenting on KTR and TRS attack on Mahakutami in Telangana, Shabbir said that KCR and TRS had no faith in any alliances as history shows that both were worst betrayers of alliances as they dumped the parties after winning elections and enjoying power. In 2004 TRS was with Congress enjoyed power in the state and also at the centre. In 2008 it partnered TDP and left opposition but jumped them after polling to sail with the BJP and NDA at the last minute. Now TRS and KCR are sailing with the BJP for survival as they have lost the confidence of large sections of people of Telangana due to their failed promises and corrupt family rule and hence wooing the Seemandhras in Hyderabad. Incidentally, TRS and KCR have no influence of vote bank in Hyderabad.
