Civic chief Srinivas Reddy inspects sanitation works

Siddipet: Siddipet Municipality Commissioner Srinivas Reddy, along with vice chairman Akthar Patel, made a sudden inspection of sanitation and drainage works in 12th ward on Wednesday. During the visit, he expressed his dissatisfaction at area supervisor Mallaiah on finding garbage in the ward. He ordered sanitation inspector Sathynarayana to clear the garbage regularly.

Srinivas ordered the sanitation inspector to identify apartments in each ward and take measures to ensure that residents make compost with the waste generated at their apartments. Speaking over phone to the agency which has been constructing underground drainage works, he instructed them to place caution signboards wherever works were being carried out. He asked them to maintain quality standards. Residents of the ward, municipal staff and authorities were present on the occasion.
