Mancherial: Bellampalli police on Thursday removed several posters containing anti-government message allegedly pasted by the Maoists at Bellampalli in Mancherial District on Thursday.

According to the sources, posters were pasted on the walls at prominent places, such in market area, Ambedkar Colony and Caltax area. Maoist posters appeared at different parts in Bellampalli town on Thursday. It is learnt that Maoist of Singareni coal belt committee were accused of pasting wall posters.

The posters appealed to the people to boycott the Assembly elections. They also urged the people to fight their democratic rights. The poster criticised TRS government for early elections in the State. Maoist also alleged that the main opposition parties, the Congress and Telugu Desam Party were adopting anti-democratic policies. The Maoists blamed the TJS for playing opportunistic politics.
