Khammam: The representative of Telangana Senior Udyamakarula Mithra Mandali on Friday alleged that the government is neglecting the seniors who actively participated in the Telangana Movement.

Addressing the media persons, the mandali member, Mohammad Muzaffar said that for achieving the separate Statehood, many senior persons struggled hard and went through many difficulties and went jails.

Even though without losing their heart, they motivated the people, stressing the need of separate statehood for Telangana region, he added.
After the formation of the separate State and the government did not take any initiatives for such senior leaders who actively participated in the early Telangana Movement. These leaders are living a miserable life and are facing lots of problems, he stressed.

They demanded the political parties to include their problems in the election manifesto and try to solve them after coming to the power along with allotting double bedroom houses, pensions and issuing free bus and train passes to them and health cards.

The representatives of the association R Sudhakar, G Mohan Rao, K S Vijaya Kumar, A Pulla Rao, Shaik Khaleer Ahmed, K Manohar, B Martin Jaipal, CH Venkateswarlu, P Krishna Murthy, Shaik Sharfuddin, P Kannaiah and P Venkateswarlu and others were present on the occasion.
