Casting doubts on its continuation in the alliance, the Communist Party of India CPI on Saturday announced candidates for five seats

Hyderabad: Casting doubts on its continuation in the alliance, the Communist Party of India (CPI) on Saturday announced candidates for five seats.

According to the announcement, state secretary of the party Chada Venkat Reddy would contest from Husnabad, Kunapaneni Sambasiva Rao from Kothagudem, Dr Vijaya from Wyra, G Mallesh from Bellampalli and Satyam Yadav from Munugode constituencies.

Making serious allegations on the Congress, Venkat Reddy said the grand-old party has been ill-treating them. He said that while the Congress has been acting as benefactor, they have been treated as beneficiaries. He raised strong objection to the absence of PCC president Uttam Kumar Reddy at the meeting with Congress affairs in-charge RC Khuntia on Saturday evening.
