Ridiculing the Mahakutami for its internal contradictions, IT Minister K T Rama Rao on Saturday said that the alliance, which was unable to sort out the ticket distribution, is dreaming of running the government in Telangana

Hyderabad: Ridiculing the Mahakutami for its internal contradictions, IT Minister K T Rama Rao on Saturday said that the alliance, which was unable to sort out the ticket distribution, is dreaming of running the government in Telangana.

Addressing a meeting of farmers in Yellareddypet in Sircilla constituency, Rama Rao lashed out at the Mahakutami leaders. Rama Rao said that by the time the Mahakutami sorted out the problems in allotment of tickets, the TRS leaders would be distributing sweets. Rao alleged that the Telugu Desam Party, which is trying to derail irrigation projects in Telangana, is again coming back here to seek votes.

“Chandrababu Naidu, who wrote 31 letters to the Centre against the projects in Telangana, is coming here to seek your votes. If he comes to power in Telangana, will he allow water to come to the farmers? Telangana farmers will have to suffer. Can we sign our own death warrant by voting for the Congress party,” he asked.

The TRS leader said that the state government-led by chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao had brought 453 schemes. Many farmers, poor and others sections were benefitted by the innovative schemes initiated by the chief minister. The minister listed out schemes such as superfine rice to the hostel students, Rythu Bandhu, Rythu Beema and other schemes.

Rama Rao said that the Congress is known for its ‘Bhasmasur Hastam’. He said that TJS Chief M Kodandaram talked big earlier and now he has adjusted just for a few seats. “All the Congress leaders lashed out at me when I said ‘Amma Bomma’ referring to Sonia Gandhi the same leaders were supporting Chandrababu Naidu now, who abused her more than TRS,” said KTR. "The Congress leaders do not have any sense of shame. Chandrababu Naidu called Sonia Gandhi anaconda of corruption, Congress, an Italian mafia and now they are having alliance. Think before voting,” he said. KTR called upon people to decide which side they want to be.

“At one side there is a person who killed people for demanding electricity and another side there is KCR who is providing 24-hour free power and schemes like Rythu Bandhu and Rythu Beema,” said Rao. The TRS leader said that there would be another loan waiver of Rs 1 lakh by the government on December 11. He said that the chief minister wants to make one crore acres fertile. “TPCC chief Uttam Kumar Reddy said that there was a silent revolution but there is nothing like silent revolution. There would be resounding revolution in favour of TRS on December 11,” said Rao.

At another meeting in Sircilla, Rao said that the TRS would strive for development of weavers. He said that earlier in 2009 when he won for the first time, he had no idea about handloom and powerloom but later after knowing the problems of the weavers, plans were prepared for development of the sector. He said that he had got an idea as to how to develop the living conditions of the weavers.
