EC clears six TRS campaign songs

Hyderabad: Election Commission on Friday gave clearance to six campaign songs of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS), which include two songs written by the party president K Chandrashekar Rao.

The TRS president wrote two songs, ‘Telangana ipudipude challabadutu vunnadi.... Kutralanni Chedinchi Kudutapadutunnadi’ and ‘Enduku veyyalno car ku enduku vote veyalno... enduku veyalno saaruku enduku geliphinchalno...’ The TRS chief included the TRS party’s schemes and also cautioned the voters to be varied of the Mahakutami in his songs.

Caretaker Chief Minister Chandrashekar Rao’s secretary Deshapati Srinivas also provided lyrics to the songs. Folk singer Saichand gave vocals to the songs.
