Prosperity only under Congress rule: Anil Kumar

Musheerabad: The Grand Alliance-supported Congress candidate for Musheerabad constituency, Anil Kumar Yadav, said that the development of the constituency is possible only with Congress party. Speaking during his campaign in Kavadiguda division on Monday, he noted said that several public issues were being brought to his notice by locals during his campaign. He alleged that both Dr K Lakshman, BJP sitting MLA, and Naini Narsimha Reddy, caretaker home minister of TRS government, failed to develop the constituency. He, therefore, appealed to the people to vote for Congress party if they wanted constituency be developed.

Anil Kumar accused TRS party of having a secret pact with BJP to ensure Dr Lakshman’s victory from the constituency. The TRS party activists led by its candidate Muta Gopal were only canvassing in a few colonies to help BJP win the seat, he added. He said that several leaders of GA parties were coming forward to campaign in support of him and exuded confidence that he would win from the constituency. Earlier in the morning, Anil started his campaign by paying tributes to Dr Ambedkar statue at Tank Bund. Former deputy mayor Raj Kumar, Venu Yadav, Congress party leaders and activists participated in the campaign in large numbers.
