Webcasting of polling: Students services sought

Khammam: District Collector RV Karnan has sought the services of the Engineering students for the coverage of the polling process in the district. Karnan on Monday urged the principals of engineering and degree colleges to submit the list of students interested in organising web-casting of the poling process of the Assembly elections to be held on December 7.
The Collector chaired the meeting with the principals of engineering and degree colleges at Pragna Conference Hall in Khammam. He added that a one-day training will be given to the students who voluntarily come forward about for the web-casting along with providing free boarding and meals during the time of elections for two days and will be paid Rs 800 as honorarium to the students, informed the Collector.
