Hyderabad: With just four days left for campaigning to end, the war of words between TRS and TDP is becoming sharper and sharper. The manner in which TRS leader KT Rama Rao threatened to see the political end of TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu saying that the TRS was forced to do a tit-for-tat in political arena by denting Naidu’s chances under the federal front umbrella. Is TRS serious to enter politics in AP? The possibility cannot be ruled out as KCR had himself in the past said that people there are looking for a KCR-type CM.

Speaking at an Aatmeeya Samavesham organised in Bharatnagar near Kukatpally on Saturday, KTR said, "We never thought of poking a finger in Andhra politics. However, Chandrababu Naidu has done so in a neighbouring State. If need be TRS will show its strength in AP through Federal Front. Naidu is trying to influence Telangana voters through money, power and media.

However, I am confident that TDP candidates would get a hammering at the hands of voters," he said.
Drawing the attention of the audience to flooding of election advertisements in media by the Praja Front, KTR said that everyone knows who is funding the advertisements.

"Rahul Gandhi might distribute seats. Chandrababu might distribute crores. How many tricks Naidu might play, but people's mandate would be for KCR for giving a good governance and taking care and welfare of all sections," he pointed out. Earlier in the day, KTR addressed "Spirit of Hyderabad" organised by the city industrialists and business circle. He said that TRS government's goal was to transform into a global city.

"Efforts are made to improve infrastructure and basic facilities in Hyderabad. Controlling pollution is being given top priority. Surveys pointed out that Hyderabad is counted as one of the cities with the best Quality of Living. Metroline is being extended to Shamshabad Airport in future," Rao highlighted.

On the growth front, Telangana achieved the first position among all states in the country. IT corridors would be extended to districts in the future, Rao said. Power woes and irrigation water needs are being addressed on a priority basis, he said.
