Even as the campaigning is at a feverish pitch with the assembly polls around the corner, the supremos of national parties have intensified canvassing in the state. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has already visited Telangana twice. AICC president Rahul Gandhi has been campaigning for one week and taking part in road shows in the city and elsewhere. Gandhi is also sharing stage with Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu at several public meetings held in Khammam and Hyderabad.
Particularly, AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has been fending off harsh barbs from TRS supremo. Naidu is intensifying his canvass in several places in Hyderabad, more so for the victory of his niece Nandamuri Suhasini who is contesting from Kukatpally constituency. The president of All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) Asaduddin Owaisi is briskly campaigning for his party and supporting TRS.
